These terms explain how Stockey may be used, what Stockey does not provide, what users are responsible for, and the limits that apply before using any strategy, backtest, AI review, or exported package.

You control your strategies
Users define their own strategy logic, assumptions, risk settings, data source, broker setup, and deployment decisions.
Stockey is not an adviser
Stockey does not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, portfolio advice, or guaranteed outcomes.
Backtests are limited
Historical tests are based on available data and assumptions. They are not forecasts and do not predict future performance.
AI is review support
AI may summarize, explain, or critique strategies and backtests, but users must review all outputs and make their own decisions.
Exports are self-hosted
Generated packages are user-owned and self-hosted. Stockey does not run live orders from the SaaS platform.
Credentials stay user-controlled
Broker credentials are entered only when required and are not stored permanently by default. Exported packages use example values.
Users must follow rules
Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws, broker terms, exchange rules, data licensing terms, and tax obligations.
Use is at your risk
Trading, automation, market data, broker APIs, servers, and generated code all involve risk and require careful review.
1.Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using Stockey, the user agrees to these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure. If the user does not agree, they should not use the platform.
- Users must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
- Users must provide accurate account information.
- Users must use Stockey only for lawful purposes.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Stockey is permitted in their jurisdiction.
- Stockey may restrict or suspend access where misuse, legal risk, security risk, or breach of terms is suspected.
Access boundary
Account access may be refused, limited, suspended, or terminated if platform safety, compliance, security, payment, or misuse concerns arise.

4.Accounts, credentials, and security
Account security
- Keep login credentials secure
- Use strong authentication where available

Broker credentials
- Broker credentials remain the user's responsibility
- Stockey does not permanently store broker secrets by default
- Temporary broker access may be used for historical-data sessions
- Exported packages use .env.example values
- Users configure credentials locally after export
Security limitations
- No system is guaranteed to be error-free or breach-proof
- Users must secure their own devices, servers, and deployments
- Users must review generated packages before use
- Users must monitor logs and package behavior

5.User content, strategies, and ownership
- Users retain responsibility for strategy ideas, strategy rules, uploaded scripts, uploaded CSV files, assumptions, configuration choices, and exported packages.
- Users must have the right to upload, paste, or process any content they submit.
- Users must not upload third-party confidential, restricted, unlawful, infringing, or unauthorized material.
- Users must not upload malware, harmful scripts, or code intended to disrupt systems.
- Users grant Stockey a limited permission to process submitted content only to provide the requested service.
- Stockey may generate derived artifacts such as StrategySchema, backtest reports, AI summaries, config files, and package files.
- Users are responsible for reviewing all generated artifacts before relying on them.
Not allowed
- Uploading stolen code
- Uploading restricted market data without rights
- Uploading confidential client data without permission
- Uploading malware or harmful code
- Using Stockey to infringe third-party rights
6.Historical testing and data limitations
Historical Test Boundary
Diagnostic / not predictive- Historical tests are simulations using past data and assumptions.
- Backtests are not predictions, guarantees, or financial advice.
- Data may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular strategy.
- Live market conditions may differ from historical simulations.
- Transaction costs, taxes, slippage, liquidity, spreads, volatility, outages, and execution timing may materially affect live outcomes.
- Users must not treat backtest performance as proof of future profitability.
7.AI-assisted features
AI output scope
AI may help explain strategy rules, summarize backtests, identify missing assumptions, suggest tests, draft configuration notes, and produce review summaries.
AI output limitations
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, unsuitable, or based on insufficient context. AI does not know the user's full financial situation, objectives, or legal obligations.
User review required
Users must independently review, verify, and approve AI output before using it for any strategy, package, deployment, or trading-related decision.

9.Prohibited use
Users must not use Stockey to:
10.Payments, plans, and refunds
- Paid features, subscriptions, credits, exports, consulting, or deployment handoff services may be offered.
- Prices, plan limits, included features, billing cycles, renewal terms, and taxes will be shown at purchase or in the billing interface.
- Users are responsible for payment method accuracy, taxes, and charges incurred through their account.
- Certain fees may be non-refundable once services are delivered, exports are generated, credits are consumed, or support work begins, subject to the published refund policy and applicable law.
- Stockey may change pricing or plan features with notice where required.
- Non-payment may result in restricted access, suspension, or termination.
11.Third-party services and integrations
Stockey may rely on third-party services or allow users to connect third-party accounts. Stockey does not control third-party availability, terms, pricing, outages, API changes, data quality, account restrictions, or service interruptions. Users are responsible for complying with third-party terms and reviewing their risks.

13.Disclaimers
Stockey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Stockey does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free output, complete data, accurate AI output, profitable strategies, suitable exports, broker availability, market-data availability, or successful deployment.
14.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stockey and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, trading, market, opportunity, data, profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or account losses arising from or related to use of Stockey, backtests, AI output, package exports, broker integrations, third-party services, or self-hosted deployments.
15.Indemnity
Users agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from their misuse of Stockey, breach of these Terms, unlawful content, unauthorized data or scripts, violation of third-party rights, broker/API misuse, exported package use, self-hosted deployment, or trading decisions.
16.Suspension and termination
Stockey may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where it reasonably believes there is breach of terms, non-payment, security risk, legal risk, regulatory concern, abusive behavior, unauthorized use, platform abuse, fraud risk, or risk to the platform or other users.
Users may stop using Stockey at any time. Certain retained records may continue where needed for security, audit, legal, tax, billing, dispute, or compliance purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy.
17.Changes to these Terms
Stockey may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version should show an effective date. Where required, users may be notified of material changes. Continued use after changes become effective means the user accepts the updated Terms.
18.Governing law and disputes
Governing law, dispute resolution, notice procedure, consumer rights, operating entity, and venue language require qualified legal confirmation before legal reliance. Questions about these Terms should be sent to Stockey's legal support channel.
